Banquet Furniture

Banquet furniture has to survive a duty cycle most furniture never sees. A chair holds a guest through a three-hour dinner, gets stacked eight high, wheeled across a car park and set again two days later for a conference. A table gets folded, trolleyed and knocked against a door frame every week for a decade. Nothing in a showroom tells you how either will behave in year seven.

These guides come from our own factory floor in Istanbul, where we build banquet chairs and tables for hotels, halls and conference venues in more than thirty countries. They cover the decisions buyers actually face: tube gauge and weld quality, foam density and seat depth, stacking heights measured against the storage bay you already have, abrasion ratings, standards and test reports, container loading and realistic lead times.

You will also find the arithmetic that quotations usually leave out. How many chairs a venue genuinely needs, rather than the number its record event suggests. What a table diameter does to covers per event, and therefore to revenue. Why trolleys bought at the start cost less than the overtime they save in the first season.

Start with the two complete guides, one for chairs and one for tables, then work through the shorter pieces on stacking, durability and buying from Turkey. Where a decision depends on your own event mix, we say so rather than pretending there is a single right answer.
